Meredith has a PhD in Science and a Bachelor of Education. She has a decade of experience working as a Primary Teacher. During her teaching career, Meredith developed a passion for working with children with learning difficulties.
Meredith pursued her passion and is now the Therapy Assistant at Tools 4 Life. Her role involves working with the therapy team to develop and run the group programs at Tools 4 Life. Meredith also supports families to identify which group will be the best fit for their child or teen.
Meredith is a Mother to three daughters. She gained her Bachelor of Education (primary) whilst raising her daughters. Meredith has 10 years of experience working as a Primary Teacher. During her Teaching career, Meredith developed a passion for working with children with learning difficulties.
Meredith pursued her passion and gained employment as a Learning Support Teacher. Meredith has taught children with a range of abilities including children with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Learning Difficulties
Cerebral Palsy
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Intellectual Disabilities
Down Syndrome
Meredith now uses her knowledge and experience in her role as Group Coordinator with Tools 4 Life. Meredith works with the therapy team to ensure group programs are evidenced-based, fun and target the child or teen’s goals. Meredith’s role also involves:
Working with the therapy team to run the group programs.
Supporting families to identify which group is the best fit for their child or teen.
Working with families to ensure skills learnt in the group can be used in a range of settings.
