Our Group Programs
Get Set for Prep
Supporting children to learn skills required for prep. The group involves pre-writing skills, social skills for a group setting, attending to instructions and following routines. This group is for children attending prep in 2019.
Children/teens meet in their local park to play group games and work together to complete team activities. Concepts from the Social Thinking Curriculum and Zones of Regulation Program are used to support the development of emotional regulation and social skills. We offer programs for three different age groups, children aged 6-8 years, 9-12 years and teens aged 13-15 years.
Foodie Friends (Life Skills)
This group supports teens and young adults to learn the skills for cooking simple meals. Strategies and resources used to support skill development include video modeling, visual supports, assistive technology and adapted cooking utensils.
